RhodeMap RI is a coordinated and forward-looking effort by the state to make Rhode Island a better place to live and work by mobilizing state and community assets in a whole new way. Through RhodeMap RI, the State seeks to strengthen our economy, meet current and future housing needs, and plan for future growth through the development of an integrated plan that will also include strategies for transportation, land use and the environment.
Over the next year all Rhode Islanders will have a chance to contribute to the effort by talking about how they are able succeed in their community, what challenges they face every day, and their vision for the future of the State. Recognizing that the decisions made through RhodeMap RI will affect all residents and business owners, this project will address economic, housing, and growth in a way that creates a stronger, more equitable Rhode Island.
