Nail2
Nail2 involved the design of a creative commons, or brain room, for an advertising agency in Providence RI. Our clients needed acoustic dampening, new lighting & furniture, a large scale digital projection area, a working pin-up wall, and a magnet wall. We proposed a series of iterative, dimensional sound baffles made of sustainable density fiberboard and stretched felt, a cork panel wall, and two metal panel sliding doors that slide open to reveal a whiteboard for both drawing and digitally projecting on. The felt and SDF acoustic panels were fabricated and installed in collaboration with Work-Shop, while the lighting, cork and metal walls were fabricated and installed with Sixteen On Center Design/Build.
